The Steve Prescott Foundation has unveiled the final draw and full entertainment programme for the PSD Vehicle Rentals SPF Celebrity Bowls 2026, in association with Barton’s Pickles.

The event, promising to be a major highlight, will take place at the Unison/NALGO Sports Club, St Helens, on Saturday, August 8, starting at 12.30pm.

Bringing together stars from rugby league, football, television, and entertainment, the day aims to raise funds for The Christie and the Seriously Injured Players Fund.

The matches will feature exciting pairings, including Mickey Higham and Macauley McCormack facing off against Daryl Clark and Samantha Howard, and Johnny Vegas and Brian Davies playing against Bennie Westwood and Tony “Sonic” Parkins.

Other notable duos include Sir Kevin Sinfield with Jonathan Peter Whitworth and Jude Riordan with Jonathan Pearcey.

The day promises more than just bowls, as a packed schedule of live entertainment has been arranged for spectators.

This includes performances from Rick Ashcroft, Mark Hemmings, and The Bath Tub Gin Band, starting from 3pm.

Families will also have plenty to enjoy with Jo’s Reptile Show, Ben Tarvie and the Harry Potter owls, LD Make-Up Face Painting, and a mega raffle and tombola.

There will also be great food, drinks, and an outdoor cash-only bar.

The Steve Prescott Foundation has also worked out parking arrangements for the day, with spaces available at FC St Helens Windleshaw Sports Ground, requiring a £5 cash donation to the foundation.

Spectators are advised to arrive early to make the most of the day.

The foundation has expressed its gratitude to the title sponsor, PSD Vehicle Rentals, associate sponsor Barton’s Pickles, and other partners for their support.

These include Glassbond NW, Taylor Bowls, Bubble Customised Clothing, and Vinyline Signs & Graphics.

The foundation also thanked every celebrity, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who has contributed to making this year’s event possible.

The event serves as a tribute to Steve Prescott MBE, and the foundation is looking forward to welcoming everyone for another memorable day, continuing to make a difference in his memory.
