Manor Park Tennis Club in Malvern wants to replace the impermeable acrylic surface at the courts with a permeable clay surface.
The club, based in Albert Road North, also wants to replace eight “older, inefficient” floodlights with more modern examples.
Plans submitted to Malvern Hills District Council also include a proposal for seven floodlights on courts that have previously been unlit, although the club says they “will not be closer to the public realm than those already present within the site.”
