Celebrity Hunted viewers have issued major concerns on social media for Amy Dowden’s health. This Tuesday’s (11 August) instalment of the Channel 4 series saw professional dancers Amy and Carlos Gu hide out at Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood’s house while Hunters struggled to locate them.
However, worries for the duo began to emerge as they prepared for an important appointment. The dancer has been outspoken about her past breast cancer battle, undergoing a mastectomy and chemotherapy.
Now in remission, Amy continues to receive preventative treatment, receiving monthly hormone-suppression injections and checkups at the Good Hope Hospital, in Birmingham.
This Tuesday (11 August), Amy and Carlos were able to quickly reach the hospital without being followed, but they had to make a swift escape in a getaway vehicle with the help of a friend, Paula.

Once they’d slipped off the Hunters’ radar, the pair found refuge in a Wolverhampton hotel, but their peace was short-lived. While Amy endured difficult side-effects of her treatment, Carlos quickly took the reins of the escape mission, led by a gut feeling that the Hunters were closing in.
It was then that viewers took to X to express their worries for Amy. A handful of viewers commented that she shouldn’t have taken part in Celebrity Hunted due to her health, but others weren’t impressed by Ray Howard’s tactic to use the appointment to capture the pair of friends.
Amy and Carlos managed to prove viewers all wrong. With the help of disguises, the duo were able to leave their hotel before the Hunters could catch them, leaving them still on the run. But not everyone was able to get away.
Hunters executed their first capture this Tuesday, as they cornered Love Island’s Chris Taylor and Toby Aromolaran. The pair had openly goaded the Hunters during this Monday’s instalment, delivering their own caricatures to Headquarters.

Chris was the first of the duo to be caught out, while Toby managed to stay hidden before making his own escape. Unfortunately, his whereabouts were quickly narrowed down by the Hunters and he was eventually captured.
Ten fugitives now remain out in the wild, each hiding in plain sight across the UK. Father-daughter duo Lucy and Brian Conley have successfully vanished, using wigs and quirky disguises to their advantage.
Other contestants, such as Jen Brister and Laura Smyth, have used the same tactic, while fugitives like Sophie Morgan and JJ Chalmers have relied exclusively on their real-life connections – such as former Celebrity Hunted winner, Iwan Thomas.
Celebrity Hunted returns Monday (17 August) from 9pm on Channel 4.
