A popular record shop has announced it will close its physical store after “much careful thought”.
Fakenham’s Top Tracks will serve customers for the last time on Friday, September 25.
After opening the store 15 months ago, owner Racheal Battley now feels it is the right time to go back to her roots and focus on the online shop – despite it being a “difficult decision to make”.
The shop sits on Cattle Market Street
The news was announced on social media earlier today, and the post said: “Opening our bricks and mortar shop was a dream come true. It gave us the opportunity to meet so many incredible music lovers.”
It added: “It has been a privilege to welcome you into our record shop.
“Whether you stopped by to browse, to hunt for an elusive pressing, or simply have a chat and share your passion for music, you have helped make our store a truly special place.”

Racheal said: “Every visit, purchase and conversation has meant more to us than you know.
“This isn’t goodbye, it’s simply the next chapter.”
Music lovers can continue supporting Top Tracks via its online website, which will feature a range of new collections and regular stock updates.
