Arsenal closed out their pre-season preparations with a win as they beat Cesc Fabregas’ Como on penalties, following a 1-1 draw. Myle Lewis-Skelly, subject of much transfer speculation over the past 24 hours, was the scorer of the evening’s first goal, taking advantage of a howler from goalkeeper Jean Butez to slot home an opener with just over half an hour played. His strike was unfortunately cancelled out, though, by an impressive effort from Martin Baturina, who skipped challenges from Max Dowman and Theo Julienne before slamming a vicious finish past Kepa Arrizabalaga.
