Coronation Street spoilers follow from Thursday’s episode (13 August), which is available to watch on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.
In tonight’s Coronation Street, Fiz spots another ominous sign that Ross isn’t telling the truth about what happened to Cassie.
Meanwhile, Bethany’s love life goes awry thanks to problems between Kit and Harry, while Tim and Sally face a tough time as they welcome a new foster child.

1. Hope’s discovery leaves Fiz concerned

Hope is given permission to take some pocket money from Ross’s wallet, but she stumbles across the family photo that Fiz gave to Cassie before Cassie left the Street.
Ross lies that Cassie threw the photo at him when he dropped her off at the train station, as she didn’t want anything more to do with the Dobbs clan. Fiz finds this highly unlikely, since family meant everything to Cassie. Can Fiz get to the truth?
2. Bethany tries to warn off Kit

Bethany gently suggests that Kit is spending too much time with Harry, which could be confusing for the young lad as Kit is likely to move out of Sarah’s place soon.
Kit wants to keep stepping up for Harry regardless of what’s happening in his relationship with Sarah, but Bethany isn’t so sure that it’s a good idea.
3. Bethany goes on a date – but problems follow

Bethany heads to the Bistro for a date with a guy called Roman and is pleased when he seems to be the full package – a far cry from some of her other recent romantic experiences.
Sadly, Bethany’s meal is soon hijacked by Harry and she’s forced to play referee after finding out that he’s been clashing with Kit.
4. Tim and Sally support Lucy

Tim and Sally welcome Richie’s daughter Lucy into their home. The foster agency confirms that it’s a short emergency placement until alternative arrangements can be made, but Sally still fears that they’re getting in over their heads.
The Metcalfes hope they’re making progress with Lucy after a difficult start, but tensions flare up when the troubled young girl insists that she wants to visit her father in prison.
5. Idris tries to cover his tracks

Nick and Toyah warn Leanne that Idris isn’t to be trusted, after learning that he made veiled threats towards the potential buyer for Speed Daal.
When Idris realises that Gavin has been talking about him, he scrambles to explain himself by giving Nick a false version of what happened. Will Nick believe it?
