Scottie Scheffler ended his long wait for a victory in the first FedEx Cup playoff event as he took the largest share of the $20 million FedEx St Jude Championship prize money pot.
There was an elevated number of FedEx Cup points available at TPC Southwind in Memphis, with the champion Scheffler banking 2,000 points, some 1,250 more than received for winning a major.
Incredibly, this was Scheffler’s 21st PGA Tour victory and after a long drought since winning the very first event of the 2026 season, Scheffler stormed to an eight-shot win to show exactly why there is no other golfer on his imperious level.
