Photos taken in Glasgow city centre on Tuesday showed bus timetables changed to listings for services in Gotham City, and New York-style awnings being put up on the front of buildings.
Gotham Police Swat vehicles were also photographed in preparation for filming, alongside an American-style Gotham Police car and large lorries.

The Herald exclusively revealed in July that production crews would be descending on Glasgow to shoot scenes for the official sequel to Matt Reeves’ 2022 film The Batman.
Robert Pattinson returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the sequel alongside Jeffrey Wright as Lieutenant Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, and Jayme Lawson as Mayor Bella Reál.
Joining the cast are Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Brian Tyree Henry and Charles Dance, with Barry Keoghan also expected to reprise his role as supervillain The Joker.
The Batman Part II is officially scheduled to be released in cinemas on February 18, 2028.

Scenes for The Batman – which made over £650 million at the worldwide box office – were filmed in Glasgow in February of 2020 , with the Necropolis and Glasgow Cathedral prominently featured in the movie’s final scenes.
Glasgow has become a frequent stand-in for the fictional Gotham City in major DC films, including The Batman (2022), The Flash (2023) and the cancelled Batgirl movie.
