Katie Taylor’s historic undisputed super lightweight title fight with Flora Pili next month at Croke Park will be available to watch live free-to-air with RTÉ Sport.
The farewell fight for the legendary Bray boxer will be on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player, with 2FM providing live radio commentary.
The London 2012 Olympic gold medallist and multi-weight world champion will bid to sign off her remarkable career in style when she faces undefeated French boxer Pili.
A crowd of 80,000 is set to be in attendance for Taylor’s momentous farewell on Saturday, 5 September, with RTÉ set to bring the event to viewers throughout the Republic of Ireland after securing rights to the event.
Streaming platform DAZN, which operates on a subscription basis, will broadcast the fight worldwide.
Tickets for the fight were snapped up in a matter of hours for what is anticipated to be one of the greatest sporting occasions ever held in the country.
Taylor has previously spoken at her disbelief at the anticipation and support for the event, having long spoken about her aspiration to box at GAA HQ.
She said: “I’m actually blown away.
“It’s been an amazing few weeks since the fight was announced, even on that bus tour going around the country. I felt like a pop star.
“It’s the fairytale ending I always wanted and I can’t believe it’s actually happening.
“It’s beyond my wildest dreams at this stage, but I still know I have a job to do.”

The broadcast will top off an extensive summer of sport on RTÉ which has featured World Cup, GAA and European Athletics and Swimming coverage.
RTÉ Head of Sport Declan McBennett said: “RTÉ was there at the start of Katie’s journey as an amateur and we are delighted to be there for the final chapter.
“Katie is, and always will be, one of Ireland’s greatest ever sporting icons and it is fitting that she ends her illustrious career in Croke Park in front of a full stadium and a national audience.”
Matchroom Sport chairman Eddie Hearn said: “Saturday, 5 September is the night when Katie Taylor will bring Ireland to a standstill. A night that will be immortalised forever.
“Katie is without question the greatest of all time.
“I cannot think of a more fitting way to honour Katie’s remarkable career by sharing this special night with millions of her loyal Irish fans, live on RTÉ.
“She will be determined to sign-off in style and capture the undisputed crown. And for that, she absolutely deserves all the support she can get as reward for such a magnificent career.
“This will be an unforgettable evening with 80,000 in attendance at Croke Park.”
Hearn thanked DAZN for helping to facilitate the free-to-air agreement with RTÉ.
The last time a professional boxing event was staged in Croke Park was July 1972 when Muhammed Ali famously took on Detroit heavyweight Al Lewis.
The bout will be the best attended boxing match in the history of the country and one of the largest ever for a female sporting event in the world.
Unbeaten Pili is the mandatory challenger for Taylor’s IBF super-lightweight title and the top-ranked contender for the now vacant WBC belt.
Taylor explained last month: “I have a real threat in front of me, someone who’s going to try and ruin the night for me. I’m prepared for that.
“She’s going to be raising her game, so I have to raise my game as well.
“I have the experience not to get complacent at this stage. I’m preparing for whatever comes my way on fight night, and I’m planning a career-best performance.
“This is another huge pressure night for me, but I love these kind of nights.”
