We’ve timestamped the gameplay trailer to start at the beginning of the Xbox Series X performance mode specifications.

Rebel Wolves has posted Xbox Series X gameplay for its upcoming RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, revealing the two graphical modes you can expect when it launches on Xbox and other platforms on September 3rd.

The trailer features PS5 Pro, PS5 and Xbox Series X gameplay, with the obvious stinker being that none of the consoles will support 60FPS. Instead, Xbox Series X will offer 30FPS and 40FPS modes. Here’s what you can expect:

It’s a surprise to see a game launching in 2026 on Microsoft’s flagship console without a 60FPS option. The trailer doesn’t reveal any details about the less powerful Xbox Series S either. Perhaps most bizarrely, even the PS5 Pro doesn’t appear to support 60FPS.

The upcoming RPG is being spun up by some of the old hats behind the incredible Witcher 3, and judging from early previews The Blood of Dawnwalker is certainly worth keeping your eye on – even if it’s lacking those extra frames.

So, is the lack of a dedicated 60FPS mode a deal breaker for you? Make sure to vote in the poll below and talk to us about it in the comments section.
