An NHS boss is set to attend the next Save Benjamin Court campaign meeting to discuss a possible future for the Cromer site.
Benjamin Court, a reablement centre providing “step-down” care for hospital patients, was shut in June 2023 and has sat empty since.
Beth Manning, head of clinical transformation for community services and older persons at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT), will speak about the possibility of creating a neighbourhood mental health hub there, organisers have said.
The proposal follows the government’s decision to open similar facilities.

Ms Manning visited Benjamin Court while searching for suitable premises for a hub in North Norfolk.
Campaigners said she was impressed by what she saw.
However, it is said NSFT is unlikely to need the whole site and campaigners want the remaining space used for health services, particularly post-hospital rehabilitation.
The Save Benjamin Court group has campaigned for rehabilitation services to return.
The meeting is to discuss what this could mean for the campaign to save and reopen Benjamin Court.
The meeting takes place on Friday, August 28 at 6pm at Cromer Community Centre.
