Glasgow residents have taken to social media to share clips of a mysterious line of lights in the night sky.
Observers noticed the bright objects over the city on Saturday evening (August 22).
In a clip shared with Glasgow Live, dozens of star-like orbs can be seen stretching across the night sky.
While some joked that the lights could be ‘UFOs’, it is understood that they are part of Elon Musk’s “train” of SpaceX Starlink internet satellites.
Usually identified by their pattern as a tight row of glowing dots, they appear in the night sky up to five days after being launched as they move into their proper orbit of the planet.
