Yi Hani, also known as Autumn Shaw, was born in Fermanagh before moving to South Korea with her parents.
And now she is the youngest member of the new group Tuide, who are already being tipped for big things in the K-Pop world.
They released their first single on Monday called Sun Kiss.
The seven-member group was put together by ABD, a record label under Pledis Entertainment and Hybe Corporation.
Yi Hani joins Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki and Seah in the group and the band already has more than 1.5million followers on TikTok and almost 500,000 on Instagram.
The group’s YouTube channel already has almost 10million views on their videos.
Her bio online states she was born in Fermanagh but attended school in Shanghai, but is a fluent English speaker thanks to her dad.
Speaking about the group’s new song in Teen Vogue, Yi Hani said: “Our lead title, ‘Sun Kiss,’ really represents TUIDE the best because the meaning of the song is trusting your own voice and being confident.
“No matter who tells you what, just use your sun-kissed voice. When you look at the performance, you can really see the gestures we use, and the facial expressions are very natural and very true to us. I think that song really shows each of our personalities.
“In the ‘Sun Kiss’ outro, as well as in the performance, you can see we’re all doing freestyle dance moves. I think because we all have diverse moves and stuff, when it comes together as a performance, you can see the diversity and how vibrant our energy is.”
