Vue Reading is bringing the full series back to cinemas to mark the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter’s cinematic debut in 2001, giving audiences a chance to revisit the magic of Hogwarts.

The screenings will begin on August 28 with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and continue weekly until October, concluding with the two-part finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Robert Lea, head of screen content at Vue UK and Ireland, said: “Since 2001, the Harry Potter films have become some of the most enjoyable, memorable and beloved big-screen adventures of all time.

“To mark this special anniversary, we’re thrilled to welcome fans back to Hogwarts.

“Whether they have enjoyed the films many times before or are experiencing them for the first time, this big-screen season is guaranteed to provide plenty of magical moments and memories for film fans to treasure.”

Each film will be shown at Vue in Reading, offering fans the chance to experience the wizarding world as it was meant to be seen, on the big screen.

To celebrate the anniversary, Vue will also offer exclusive new merchandise, including a collectable popcorn tin with a wand stirrer and a premium Harry Potter-themed cup.
