Wakefield Trinity have confirmed which players will leave the club at the end of the season, and there are nine in total.
Some of those players have already been announced to depart, including Cameron Scott and Tyson Smoothy.
Scott will leave for the Bradford Bulls, returning to his hometown side for 2027. Smoothy will return to the NRL, linking up with Perth Bears ahead of their inaugural season in Australia’s premier competition.
Seth Nikotemo and Tommy Doyle are part of the nine, though the two have already left Trinity, doing so in the past fortnight.
Daryl Powell confirmed that outside back Will Tate was highly unlikely to earn a new contract at the club, and that has now been confirmed with the former Castleford and Hull KR man leaving Belle Vue after 10 appearances.
Winger Lachlan Walmsley will also exit, with the club now freeing up a quota spot. Walmsley signed a new one-year deal at the beginning of the year following the increase in quota players from seven to 10, but he will not be with the side in 2027.
Half-back Mason Lino is another on the departures list. The 32-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Castleford Tigers, though nothing has been announced yet.

Lastly, and perhaps the most surprisingly, loose forward Jay Pitts will depart, despite having another year left on his deal. Pitts originally came through the academy at Wakefield, making his debut in 2008 before finding his way back to the club at the start of the 2020 season.
In his last game, the 36-year old made his 450th career appearance against York Knights. Through his two spells with the club, Pitts has played in over 190 games, but after leaving the side he now needs to negotiate finding a new club, or retiring from the game he has served for almost two decades.
