Ever since Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund announced back in April that they would be withdrawing their funding from the league, DeChambeau has been heavily linked with a move back to the PGA Tour.
The 32-year-old two-time major champion has won five times on LIV Golf since joining the league in June 2022.
Bryson DeChambeau even managed to win a major championship after he moved to LIV Golf.

However, since his US Open victory in 2024, he has really struggled at the majors for the most part.
DeChambeau actually admitted recently that he’s open to a PGA Tour return, but he also wanted to remain with LIV Golf.
Now we have some definitive news regarding his future.
Bryson DeChambeau makes decision over playing on LIV Golf in 2027
Golf fans are desperate to know whether DeChambeau will return to the PGA Tour or decide to stay with LIV Golf.
Well, it seems like he has now made his decision.
According to Ten Golf, DeChambeau is ‘all in’ on LIV 2.0.
Meanwhile, Cam Smith and Dustin Johnson are said to be in on the idea of LIV 2.0 as well.

The purses on the second instalment of LIV Golf will be around $7-9 million – a figure which is actually not as low as some were forecasting.
There will be 10 teams each consisting of four players. Another 50 players will be added to the field as part of an “Open Format”, with some automatic qualifiers.
The bottom 30 of each 90-man field will be cut from each event.
Three players who definitely won’t play on LIV in 2027
There will clearly be plenty of players opting out of competing on LIV Golf from 2027 onwards.
Ten Golf claim that Bubba Watson and David Puig are definitely out of LIV 2.0.
Meanwhile, Jon Rahm is said to be out of the project, one way or another.
It is also claimed that the “remaining European LIV players remain in a stand-off with DPWT over conflicting event fines & suspensions. If DPWT doesn’t budge, likely 90% of current European LIV players will leave LIV 2.0“.
It will be fascinating to see how this one plays out over the course of the next few weeks and months.
