Standing 3.6 metres tall and crafted from galvanised steel, the piece now sits at Cygnet Rise in Swaffham and was created by North Elmham blacksmith Toby Winterbourn.
It was commissioned by Abel Homes as part of its ongoing public art programme, with this marking the 17th commission since it announced the project in 2008.
Tony Abel, chairman of Abel Homes, said: “At Abel Homes, we believe building new homes isn’t just about bricks and mortar; it’s about people, and creating genuine new communities.
“Our public artwork programme is designed to provide a focal point for those communities, a place where residents can meet and chat.
“The aim of commissioning these public artworks is to help to start to bind the threads of each new community together, through sparking conversations and giving a sense of shared ownership.”
This is the first collaboration between Abel Homes and Mr Winterbourn, who has been an artist blacksmith since 2009.
