Farming for Love, a UK spin-off of the internationally popular Farmer Wants a Wife franchise, aims to help single farmers find lasting romance.

The show is presented by Lisa Hogan, known for her role on Clarkson’s Farm alongside her partner Jeremy Clarkson.

The casting team is particularly keen to feature a farmer from Suffolk, especially as one of them is from the area and would like to showcase her local farming community.

Louise Quayle, executive producer, said: “We’d love to hear from single farmers who have a real passion for farming and the countryside, but who feels there’s one thing missing… someone to share that life with.

“This show has an incredible track record around the world of bringing people together and creating genuine, lasting relationships.

“At the heart of Farming for Love is that same really simple idea: helping farmers, whose lifestyle can make meeting someone particularly difficult, find a person who genuinely wants to be part of their world.”

Farming for Love follows the format of Farmer Wants a Wife, one of the world’s most established dating shows, credited with leading to more than 250 weddings and 630 babies worldwide.

Ms Quayle said: “With Lisa Hogan at the helm, we’re keen to find someone who has a real love for what they do.

“This is about celebrating British farming and the brilliant people behind it, while hopefully giving one farmer the opportunity to meet someone they want to spend their life with.”

Farmers from across the UK are invited to express their interest.

The casting team is happy to speak confidentially with potential applicants, with absolutely no obligation to take part.
