The Only Way is Essex star Fran Parman has marked an important milestone in her relationship with ‘Meatball’ Molly McCann. Molly retired from UFC back in March after tapping out to Alexia Thainara at The O2 Arena.

The 35-year-old won 14 of her 22 fights across a 10-year career and is one of the most successful and high-profile women’s fighters in British MMA history. The fighter, who is from Norris Green, is set to continue fighting, however, after signing a deal with Matchroom Boxing earlier this month.

Away from the sport, Fran confirmed her relationship with the former MMA fighter in October last year after sharing photos together on Instagram from when they started dating.

The video shared showed footage of them dancing, having meals out and enjoying time together. They have since shared plenty of relationship updates together.

In an Instagram post on Friday August 15, Fran posted a black and white compilation of her and Molly to mark their one year anniversary.

In the caption, Fran said: “One year today, I asked you to be my girlfriend @meatballmolly. I’m so grateful I finally found my soulmate.

“No one’s ever made me so happy and filled with love and made me feel worthy of it all. Here’s to many more years, happy anniversary, I will love you forever and always my Mol.”

The post received over 6,000 likes and many people left supportive messages in the comments section. One said: “I love seeing you this happy.”

Another said: “What a perfect pair. Happy anniversary you two, here’s to lots more memories and happy times to come.” A third person added: “The best of the best, love you both.”

In a new development, The Macro Chef, a meal prep business which Molly co-runs, will be teaming up with BABE Fitness Studio. The gym was founded by Harriet Igglesden from Allerton and Amanda Leavesley from Huyton last year.

The members-only gym is made up of three fitness studios, each offering a unique fitness experience. Studio One focuses on strength and offers HIIT and group PT classes. Studio two, described as being amazing for the mind and body, offers pole fitness, yoga, and Pilates.

The gym has two locations in Wavertree and Kirkby and is planning to launch a new venue in Chester city centre later this year. The Macro Chef will be running a coffee shop called Four, which will be part of the gym and open next month.

Fran will be the coffee shop’s manager. In an Instagram post last month, BABE Fitness Studio said: “We are very excited to announce that we are teaming up with the absolute best in the business to bring you Four coffee shop at BABE Chester.

“Presenting Four by @meatballmolly & @macrochef, managed by our gorgeous @franparman who will also be front of house!

“The Four Fitness-Friendly Menu is what dreams are made of. Think post-workout shakes, matcha, and açai bowls.

“We cannot wait to share it with you. It’s the collaboration you didn’t know you needed!”
