Nathan Gallagher will not return to Below Deck Mediterranean after Bravo said it did not intend to work with him again.

An arrest warrant was issued for Gallagher after he failed to appear in court on September 1 in connection with domestic abuse charges, including actual bodily harm, choking without consent and common assault.

The Akira One crew member entered a not guilty plea, and his failure to appear meant he was tried in his absence; he was found guilty on all three charges.

The reality TV network, Bravo, which airs Below Deck Mediterranean, had come under fire for not making any official comments about the situation.

They have now released a statement declaring that they’ll no longer work with Gallagher. A spokesperson said: “Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future.”

Gallagher has appeared in three seasons of Below Deck Mediterranean, including series 11, which is currently airing. Deadline reports that the season was filmed before the incident and that Gallagher would not be removed from the episodes.

According to NSW Police, Gallagher “is believed to be offshore,” and they are asking citizens to come forward with information about him and his whereabouts.

Gallagher recently shared a statement about the alleged incident with his ex-partner and former Below Deck co-star Gael Cameron, with whom he co-parents their son, Kayden.

“I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened,” he explained, according to Rolling Stone, adding that “what has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation.”

Although Bravo has been mostly silent on Gallagher’s conviction, a Below Deck alum has shared his thoughts on his casting. Bill Willoughby urges the network to improve their casting process after multiple incidents involving cast misdemeanors.

“It’s a shame to see the headlines about Below Deck these days. In my opinion, casting needs to change. They know exactly who they’re hiring. And it’s only a matter of time until things get worse!” he wrote on his Instagram.
