EastEnders is set to air some end-of-an-era scenes next week as the Slaters move out of number 31 amid their rift with Suki Panesar. As Jean, Mo and Lily move in with the Moons at the Vic, a tragedy unfolds.
The Slaters aren’t exactly ready to start a new chapter away from number 31 but are left with little choice when Suki evicts them for unpaid rent. Not only has Jean been behind with rent, but Alfie’s Benidorm-themed party caused Ria to get injured in the chaos, prompting a furious Suki to take action.

Mo tries to buoy Lily ahead of the move, and the trio head to The Vic to start over with the Moons. Just as the family are reunited under the same roof, the Slaters find out the sad news of Zoe’s death.
Spoilers have revealed that Zoe will die in upcoming scenes after a head injury proves fatal.
The Slaters are broken as they try to make sense of Zoe’s sudden passing, while offering some comfort to a devastated Kat.
“It’s the end of an era for the Slaters,” says our Walford source, “as Jean, Mo and Lily have no choice but to join Kat, Alfie and all the kids in The Vic – if there’s any space left in the pub, that is!”

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
