Burnham-On-Sea’s Avenue Tennis Club is inviting spectators to come along and enjoy its annual Club Finals Day later this month as the 2026 championship reaches its conclusion.
A spokesperson said the Club Championship tournaments, organised by Pippa and Sam, are well underway and will culminate on Sunday 20th September, with play expected to begin at around 10am.
The club says it hopes plenty of supporters will come along even if they are not competing. A variety of tennis and pickleball finals will be held throughout the day, along with a fun one‑point Slam that anyone can take part in by signing up on the day.
Light refreshments, including homemade cakes and cookies, will be available from 10am to 4pm. Hotdogs and burgers will be served between 12pm and 2pm, and the bar will open from midday.
The club says it is looking forward to welcoming players, families and supporters for what is expected to be an enjoyable day of sport and community activity at the Avenue.
