St Helens have confirmed which players will be leaving the club at the end of the season and off-contract playmaker Jackson Hastings headlines the list.

Hastings saw his season end prematurely after copping a ban for punching Castleford’s Tyler Dupree and it’s now confirmed that he won’t run out in the Red Vee again, with the club announcing that he will leave at the end of the season.

He is one of three big names to leave the club alongside the retiring pair of Jonny Lomax and Mark Percival, whose St Helens’ exits had previously been announced.

With both Lomax and Hastings leaving the club and young half George Whitby set to miss the first half of next season due to an ACL injury, it now likely confirms that St Helens will head to market for a new half with Love Rugby League previously reporting that the club are targetting NRL man Sean O’Sullivan.

As well as the senior trio of Hastings, Lomax and Percival, St Helens have confirmed the departures of five young players, one of whom is NRL-bound.
