Hollyoaks has recast Leela Dexter’s son Daniel Lomax, ahead of an awkward love triangle plot.

The post also featured a picture of Tensel with his new on-screen family, Kirsty-Leigh Porter (who plays Leela) and Ruby O’Donnell (who plays Peri Lomax).

Daniel’s return ushers in an awkward storyline for the mother-daughter duo, as they will soon find themselves in a love triangle with the charming Prince McQueen.

This week, Prince learns that Daniel has been getting his hair cut by Marie Fielding, and offers to take him to a barber who specialises in afros. The kind gesture impresses Leela and Peri, who both suddenly remember that Prince is single.

Later, Prince continues to charm the Lomax family when he offers to take care of Daniel for the day. After seeing the boys bonding, Peri decides to make her move on the bachelor.

Sparks fly when the pair share a drink together – but with Leela equally as interested in Prince, could drama be on the cards?

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays to Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, before an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
