Officers were called to the Misfits Boxing event at Utilita Arena on Saturday (September 12) after viral videos showed disturbances involving a number of people.
Four people were arrested on suspicion of assault – however it has now been confirmed that they have since been released with no further action.
Northumbria Police has launched an investigation into the fights and is continuing to identify all those involved.
Thousands flocked to the event on Saturday night to watch the “UK’s hardest man” Big Stacks triumph over Jordan McCann.
Several videos of the incidents were posted and shared on X over the weekend, with one video showing security staff trying to break up the altercations.
A force spokesperson said yesterday: “We want to make it clear that behaviour of this kind will not be tolerated.
“The safety of the public is our utmost priority and enquiries are ongoing to identify all of those involved.
“Anyone with information should contact us online via direct message on social media or submit a report form on our website.”
