Big Stacks speaks ahead of his fight

The ‘UK’s Hardest Man’ – more commonly known as Big Stacks will be looking to pick up his first win under the Misfits Boxing banner on Saturday night.

Stacks will finally settle his rivalrly with Manchester rapper Jordan McCann. The pair clashed in a heated altercation in the build-up to a Misfits event earlier this year. The ‘Hardest Man’ had been arguing with Tyson Fury’s brother shane, before McCann landed a punch that injured Stacks, resulting his fight with Armz Korleone to a body-shots-only contest.

McCann was also competing on the card, and would go on to lose to Ibiza Final Boss in a one-sided affair. After months of trading barbs, both McCann and Stacks will finally trade leather in the ring. And so, here is everything you need to know about the ‘UK’s Hardest Man’…

Who is Big Stacks and what is his real name?

Despite being known as Big Stack or the ‘UK’s Hardest Man,’ his real name is Charlie Robert. The 33-year-old internet personality has made a name for himself as of late in the world of social media. Robert, 33, is best known for his work on Kick as a live streamer and has amassed millions of views on the platform.

His nickname stemmed from him messing around, proclaiming himself as the ‘Hardest Man’ in the UK, and while it was merely a joke, people and professional fighters took it seriously and began challenging him. Due to the attention he got, Stacks decided to run with it and stick with the label.

After building quite the brand as a internet personality, he transitioned his fame into influencer boxing, signing with Misfits. He made his debut in a comical ‘bodyshots only’ contest against Armz Korleone earlier this year, but would go on to lose via TKO in the fourth stanza.

Big Stacks’ criminal history

From a young age, Robert found himself getting into trouble as he was heavily involved in street gangs and carrying out robberies. Despite first getting locked up at the age of 12, Stacks revealed to All Out Fighting that he first started getting ‘nicked’ at the age of 10.

The 33-year-old grew up on a council estate surrounded by violence and into a life of crime early on. Throughout his life so far, he has been arrested around 60 times, serving separate sentences for various crimes.

Discussing how he spent his teenage years, Stacks revealed to All Out Fighting: “Just in jail. I got involved in gangs. And I was just in and out of jail. It was normal for me. Because I used to love fighting, I was always getting done for assaults, GBH’s. For me, in and out of jail was my second home.”

In his early 20s, Robert was handed a 13-year prison sentence for a serious violent assault where he attacked a man with a baseball bat and broke his kneecaps. The incident originated from a dispute involving drug dealing and a suspected setup.

Recalling the incident, he said: “I was involved with gangs. I had some beef with some other drug dealer. He’s pulled up on me with a baseball bat. He tried doing me with the bat, dropped the bat and drove off. We chased after him. I thought I had been set up by the geezer I done. So, in my mind, I think ‘how the f*** did this other geezer knew who was there at the same time

“We called the geezer and were gonna meet for a deal. And I ended up battering him. Could have got it wrong. In my head, I did get it wrong, but at that night, I genuinely thought he set me up. I was intoxicated, just jumped out and battered a kid. Obviously, I regret it.”

His history with adult site OnlyFans

Not long after his release from prison, Stacks opted to set up an OnlyFans page and create content. The 33-year-old has openly admitted he set up the account and used the platform as a quick way to make money following his long stint behind bars. Robert revealed he would film explicit content with women and publicly release it to his followers on the site.

Robert produced various content on the platform – which generated a large income. He previously stated he would earn upwards of £14,000 a month from the site.

But while OnlyFans gave him some stability after his release from prison, Stacks has since expressed deep regret over the material he would post on his page. The Misfits star has faced criticism and backlash, which has affected his social presence online. As his platform continues to grow, Stacks has explained how he is taking a step away from adult content creation in a bid to focus on general social media as well as his boxing career.
