Charley Hull revealed on social media on Thursday that she has been suffering from various illnesses this week. She posted on her Instagram story: “London on this cold, rainy day is not ideal, as I’ve been bedbound for the last few days with the sickness bug, flu and tonsillitis.”

This suggests Hull may not have been feeling 100 percent during last weekend’s Solheim Cup. She has not confirmed whether she was already feeling ill in the Netherlands, but that would justify her underwhelming results.
The good news for Hull is that the LPGA Tour is on a week-long break following the Solheim Cup. Her next appearance should be at the Warlmart NW Arkansas Championship from September 25-27.
