Who among us hasn’t loved finding cool-looking rocks when we’re out on a walk or just digging around?
But imagine if the rock you happened to stumble upon was in fact a set of… giant teeth?
That’s what happened to geomorphologist Brigid Lynch, when she came across a set of mastodon molars in a creek bed in the US.
“As a geologist, I’ve gone out and seen stuff in the field, but definitely nothing as exciting as this,” said Brigid.
