Holkham Hall and Estate, featuring more than 3,000 acres of parkland, has been highlighted as one of the least-searched destinations for deer spotting during the autumn rutting season.

The grounds, home to around 500 free-roaming fallow deer, average only 50 Google searches each autumn in new research by FitFlop.

This is in stark contrast to popular parks such as Richmond Park, which sees hundreds of thousands of searches.

As well as deer spotting, visitors can enjoy the 18th-century Palladian Holkham Hall and the historic Walled Garden.

Upcoming Deer Photography Workshops, hosted by Andy Langley, offer enthusiasts a chance to learn how to capture these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

The estate also provides various family-friendly attractions, including the Holkham Stories experience, a woodland play area, a courtyard café, cycle routes and a lake.

The research highlights lesser-known locations for a quieter alternative to popular autumn wildlife-watching spots.
