Two men were arrested at the protest and counter-protest this evening as nearly 200 people were in attendance across both sides.
Around 50 protesters and 120 counter-protesters made their way to College Green and were separated by a wall of police officers.
Despite the arrests, one of which was on suspicion of wearing a face mask, the rallies passed “without serious incident” and had ended by 8.50pm.
This ends our live coverage of the events within the city centre.
