Lisa Skeffington, founder of Empowered Momentum, has been recognised for her work with women struggling with imposter syndrome, anxiety and burnout.

Her personal experiences of domestic violence and the resulting trauma have fuelled her 27-year career, helping women reclaim their lives.

This year, she launched the Empowered Momentum Community, a safe space for women and their families seeking actionable help, often missing from traditional therapies.

Ms Skeffington runs a free monthly online event, ‘From Anxious to Empowered LIVE,’ and has designed a three-tier membership system to cater to varying needs.

She said: “I’m passionate about empowering these women to step into the truth of who they are.

“When they embrace their self-worth and remove the mask of outward success, they unlock a power and freedom within themselves they doubted was ever possible.”

Ms Skeffington combines psychodynamic psychotherapy, advanced hypnotherapy and pragmatic mentoring, offering a different approach to healing.

She also provides workplace wellness initiatives, including coastal escapes and Bloom Beyond the Mask, an event combining floristry and therapy.

Her six-month mentoring programme, Empowered and Unmasked – Without Excuse or Apology, aims to help women heal emotionally, overcome anxiety and communicate effectively.
