Plans include creating larger putting areas, new holes, water features, improved planting and reconfigured pathways.
Mr and Mrs Abbott aim to reopen the course before the Easter school holiday to welcome back regular visitors and attract a new generation of mini-golf fans.
She said: “We want to create a fresh, modern experience.
“The new course will embrace a natural, green design that complements the beautiful surroundings of Eaton Park.”
The pair plans to introduce a range of opening offers and special promotions, alongside targeted initiatives for local schools, families and community groups when the site relaunches.
“This will help make the attraction accessible and affordable for everyone,” Mrs Abbott said.
“The investment represents a significant commitment to Eaton Park and to creating a fun, welcoming attraction that the people of Norwich can enjoy for many years to come,” she added.

Eaton Park Crazy Golf Ltd applied to Norwich City Council to upgrade the “poor quality” facility in April.
The authority approved the proposals in September, stating the public benefits of the upgraded facility would outweigh any identified harm.
They explained the improved course is expected to contribute to the vibrancy and character of the park.
