A documentary about Armenia’s representative at Junior Eurovision 2026, Naré, will air immediately before the live broadcast of Junior Eurovision in the country.
Entitled “Everything Started With a Dream”, the documentary will provide an extra insight into the daily life of the 13 year old. Naré will guide us to her universe of music and song and we will hear every note and sound that shapes her everyday life. It will also cover Naré’s interests and dreams for the future.
Armenian broadcaster AMPTV has not yet confirmed their exact broadcast plans for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, which will take place in Ta’ Qali, Malta this Saturday, but the documentary will air shortly before the live show begins.
13-year-old Naré will represent Armenia at the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song “BOO!”. She was chosen after over 100 singers applied to represent Armenia in Malta. She will be joined on stage for her performance by four dancers.
40 singers were invited to the second round of auditions in July. The singers were assessed by a panel of eight members, including Rosa Linn, who represented Armenia at Eurovision 2022 with “Snap”. Alongside the eight jurors who assessed the performers in Yerevan, an international jury helped determine those going through to the final round.
It was earlier revealed by the Armenian Head of Delegation that Naré has tried to represent Armenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest four times, having auditioned three times previously to this year’s selection.
The song that Naré will perform in Ta’ Qali is called “BOO!”. It was written and composed by Grigor Kyokchyan and Lilit Navasardyan. Kyokchyan previously wrote “Dance!”, the Armenian entry for Junior Eurovision 2022. Navasrdyan previously wrote “Brave Heart”, which represented Armenia in Junior Eurovision 2025, and “Paloma Rumba”, which represented Armenia in Eurovision 2026.
Albert represented Armenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in “Brave Heart” where he placed 4th. Armenia received 12 points from the juries of Georgia, Malta and Ukraine and was 6th in the public vote.
Naré will perform in slot number 8 in the final of Junior Eurovision 2026.

Armenia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest+
Armenia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, and has had 17 entries to date. The country is one of the most successful in the history of the contest, placing in the top 3 on 10 occasions, and winning twice in 2010 and 2021. Their first victory came from Vladimir Arzumanyan with his song “Mama”, which received 120 points. They won again in 2021 with “Qami Qami” by Maléna. Armenia went on to host the contest on home soil in Yerevan in 2011 and hosted it again in 2022. Their debut was almost as successful, as Arevik and their song “Erazanq” were just 1 point off the winning score.
