Liam Gallagher has taken another swipe at Dublin band Fontaines D.C., claiming they are “not good enough” to support Oasis on their upcoming world tour.
The singer made the comments in response to a fan on X who asked why Fontaines D.C. had not been booked to open for Oasis on their Live ’27 tour.
“There not good enough they don’t have any tunes,” Gallagher replied.
His remarks came after Fontaines D.C. released their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, on Friday, 16 October.

It is not the first time Gallagher has criticised the Irish band.
In September 2024, guitarist Carlos O’Connell and bassist Conor Deegan III expressed little enthusiasm for the Oasis reunion.
Speaking to Belgian broadcaster Studio Brussel, O’Connell said he “couldn’t really give a s***” about the comeback, while Deegan questioned the focus on nostalgia rather than creating new music.
Deegan said: “I feel like we get caught in the last era – like the ’10s – and into such a nostalgic thing that we’re forgetting to make new things.”
Gallagher responded at the time by mocking the band’s appearance on social media, saying he had “seen better dressed ROADIES”.

However, Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten subsequently distanced himself from his bandmates’ comments.
“I love Oasis. This is not my opinion,” he wrote on Instagram.
Both bands are set to headline Slane Castle in Co Meath next year.
Fontaines D.C. will play the venue on 26 and 27 June, while Oasis will perform there on 4 and 5 September as part of their sold-out Live ’27 tour.
