Liev Schreiber bizarrely got into a heated exchange with a red carpet reporter after he chastised her for trying to get a social media soundbite.

While at the New York City premiere of his new Apple TV show, “Nocturne,” Tuesday night, Schreiber’s back-and-forth with the reporter — who was part of Apple TV’s own in-house team — was caught on camera.

“Talk to people like you value what they do!” Schreiber told the woman.

He added, “It’s not a f–king soundbite, especially when we’re doing it in-house for our own people.”

He added that they’re trying to make the show “compelling” and advised her to “engage with the person.”

The “Ray Donovan” star, 59, then spoke about the question the reporter had asked him.

“That’s what they’re three words … three words are not gonna do anything to anybody, and the monkey that f–king thought of that is shooting themselves in the foot,” he said.

“If you wanna give them something that they can use, talk to people like they’re humans, not like it’s social media,” the Tony Award winner added.

After a discussion, the “Ray Donovan” alum agreed to finish the interview when she asked a “real question.” BACKGRID

The reporter handles the scolding well, keeping a smile on her face during most of the discussion and appearing to nod in agreement with what Schreiber was saying.

Toward the end of the clip, the reporter said something to Schreiber, to which he replied, “That’s a real question. Let’s talk about it.”

He then waved the cameraman to come back over to film and things appeared to end amicably.
