Big Brother has aired its latest eviction – but that wasn’t the only major moment to happen in tonight’s episode. Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best revealed the result of what they described as the “closest” vote of the season, which was between Catrin, Harry, Samuel and Twinks.
Ultimately it was Harry who was shown the door, and he left the iconic compound to a mostly positive reception from the gathered crowd.
After fan fury over the chosen nominees, viewers took to social media to praise the result – with The Traitors star Jessie Roux posting on Instagram: “Thank you Harry for being our sacrificial lamb! BRING IT HOME TWINKS!!!”

“The first vote the British public has got right for decades,” another commenter quipped, while a third noted: “I’m sad that Harry is gone. I actually really like him.”
The biggest development of the night, however, was arguably the housemates receiving visits from their friends and family – and an emotional Rochelle in particular was thrown a curveball, as her husband warned her to be wary of her closest ally Philip.
“Be careful with Philip. Be friendly to everybody. Certain people are stabbing you in the back,” he said. “Be more kind, be more friendly to everybody and stop with some of it, okay?”
As Rochelle was seen reeling from his words, former house guests Jedward commented on Instagram that “a war is coming”, while someone else predicted: “Philip and Rochelle drama is to come can’t wait.” Have the house dynamics just been irrevocably shaken up?
Rhianna, meanwhile, was told in no uncertain terms by her sister that Omar is “dimming [her] light” after a week of backlash on the outside world surrounding his behaviour towards her.

“Omar, liked him in the beginning,” the sibling said. “I really want you to know the past two weeks, he’s been emotionally f**king with you and I want you to know there is so much going on behind closed doors… He is so lucky I am not in there.”
“He has been dimming your light. I want you to go in there and pretend I’m you and what would you be telling me?” she added.
Host Will told Digital Spy earlier today that further “conversations” with Omar have happened off-screen since the controversy erupted, but he’s still in the house for now.
Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
