Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on E4 and stream on the Channel 4 service.

Hollyoaks has revealed Sienna Blake’s unlikely new ally in her plan to get away from her evil serial killer father Jez – but she’s still in a lot of danger.

Previously, Sienna spoke to a mysterious person in a chatroom for advice on her situation. The unknown character then told her they could help her escape and set up a new identity for £5,000.

Today’s episode (20 August) began with Sienna telling them over the phone that she would get them the money, before bumping into Jez at the hospital.

She tried to tell him and Liberty Savage that her memory hadn’t returned after the fall and was unlikely to do so, but Liberty sensed that something was wrong.

Liberty later found Sienna desperately trying to sell the flower stall, telling a potential buyer that they needed to make the purchase today.

After another conversation left Sienna panicking, she phoned up her brother Dodger to tell him she was coming to the police station.

However, when she arrived, she encountered Jez, who threatened her: “If you expose me, I’ll expose you. Have you even thought about what you’ll tell Sophie and Sebastian?”

She replied: “Ethan was an accident, everyone is gonna believe that.” But he wasn’t convinced – noting that she’d be found to be an accomplice in Dilly Harcourt’s murder, too.

He told her that her kids would come to see her in prison frequently at first, but they would eventually barely visit: “I know you think punishment will absolve you, but all you’re doing is destroying your own life, and the lives of your children.”

Sienna got emotional and left, which caught the attention of DS Bolton. The latter turned up at the stall later on, asking if there was something she was going to tell Dodger before Jez talked her down. Although Sienna didn’t say anything at the time, she took the copper’s business card.

“If you ever want to waste my time, police or personal, I’d be up for that,” DS Bolton said with a smile, before walking off.

Back at home, Jez confronted Sienna again after Liberty told him about the flower stall, and he wondered if she was planning on going away – something he wouldn’t let happen.

He dressed his threat up as needing her to be around for his and Liberty’s wedding. However, Sienna realised what was up and responded with a curt comeback.

“You’re a very confident man,” she said. “Your brother was confident, too. Until they buried him.”

The episode ended with Sienna telling her contact that she has the money due to a short-term loan. Meanwhile, Martha tried to persuade Jez that her leaving was “the cleanest way to end all this”.

Jez had other ideas, stating that Sienna “needs to be silenced, imminently”.
