The Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) seized 26,117 suspected counterfeit dietary supplements, cosmetics and perfumes from a warehouse in Bangkok’s Nong Khaem district on October 31, 2026, estimating their value at more than 5 million baht.

Police described the premises as a storage and distribution hub supplying Thai customers through online platforms, with a Chinese financier allegedly directing the operation.

Cheap online listings lead to warehouse

CPPD investigators began examining an online shop after noticing health and beauty products advertised at prices unusually far below market levels. Police traced the stock to the Nong Khaem warehouse.

Investigators said all the goods had been smuggled from a neighbouring country into northeastern Thailand before being stored at the warehouse, ready for packing and delivery against online orders.

Officers encountered Nichawadi, 30, whose surname was withheld, who identified herself as the caretaker.

Police said Nichawadi admitted coordinating orders and dispatching products for more than a year, taking telephone instructions from a Chinese financier. According to the police account, the operation dispatched 2,000 items a day.
