According to an Emmerdale spoiler for next week’s episodes, there’s a “shocking discovery” made about John Sugden. The killer appeared to claim the life of Mackenzie Boyd on Thursday in a violent showdown.

In the fallout, John will once again be covering his tracks and covering up Mack’s disappearance. But is he about to be exposed amid the reports that his downfall looms, with an exit on the cards?

According to a new spoiler for next Friday’s episode, August 29, John’s husband Aaron Dingle makes a “shocking discovery”. Not only that, but Aaron will confront John about it, accusing him of being “a liar”.

So what has Aaron found out, and what could be so “shocking” that would spark this reaction from Aaron? Spoilers don’t reveal what it is, but Aaron is seen looking at what looks like photos in frames on a cabinet.

He then turns to John in the hallway with a confronting look on his face while holding one of the photos. So what has he seen and is this linked to his claim John is a liar?

Whatever it is, Aaron doesn’t even know the half of it where his criminal husband is concerned. John killed Nate Robinson and dumped his body in the lake, before pinning it on patient Owen who he left to die after a suspected overdose.

He’s planted seeds and evidence to ensure he’s covered, even framing Ella Forster months ago for the harassment and stalking of Liam Cavanagh and Chas Dingle. Of course it was days after that we found out John orchestrated the whole thing.

John also caused Jacob Gallagher’s allergic reaction and Cain Dingle’s collapse after alcohol consumption, all so he could save their lives and play the hero. Everyone thinks John is a good guy and they have all dismissed Robert Sugden’s fears about his villainous brother.

The latest dark crime saw him exposed by Mack who realised his link to ‘removal man’ Ben. With that, Mack figured out John was to blame for Nate’s death, so John decided he needed to silence him.

After a tense chase through the woods, John shot Mack with a bow and arrow leaving him seriously injured. As Mack pleaded for his life, John told him it was about “survival” as he picked up a giant rock and appeared to slam it over Mack’s head.

Mack appears to have been killed off as The Sun claimed that Mack would die, and that actor Lawrence Robb was leaving the role after five years.
