Anthony Yarde could’ve made a costly error going into his fight with David Benavidez, according to a retired boxer.
On November 22, ‘The Beast from the East’ will challenge ‘The Mexican Monster’ for the WBC light heavyweight world title inside the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
While Yarde was knocked out by Sergey Kovalev and Artur Beterbiev, he hurt both of the legends, making him a very dangerous opponent for Benavidez.
However, he may have already cast his own demise.

Buddy McGirt rates Anthony Yarde as a boxer.
However, he’s concerned that the Englishman’s physique will come back to haunt him against David Benavidez.
In an interview with Boxing News, the fighter-turned-coach said: “I think David Benavidez wins it.
“Yarde is very defensive and good, but I think personally that Yarde has bulked up too much from when he fought Sergey Kovalev. I think he’s put on too much muscle.
“I think he should take some off that muscle. People think bigger is better — it’s not. Sometimes, it can hinder you.
“A lot of guys don’t see that, they think, ‘Yeah, I’m strong’, but you weigh in and on fight night, you’re ten pounds heavier. Can your body carry that weight for 12 rounds, especially when you have a big guy like David Benavidez pounding on your a–.
“I’d rather be more elusive than be heavy and take those shots.”

But do the Russian powerhouses share anything in common with the Brit’s upcoming foe?
