It’s a career-best for Conan Gray, as fourth studio collection Wishbone nets him a third consecutive Top 10 record. The Texan singer-songwriter previously enjoyed Albums Chart success with 2020 debut Kid Krow (30), 2022’s Superache (8) and 2024 release Found Heaven (4).

Wishbone also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, the biggest record of the week on wax.

Nottingham-formed rock outfit As December Falls also bag a personal best today. Bethany and Ande Hunter Jiménez, Timmy Francis and Kiaran Hegarty’s fourth LP Everything’s On Fire But I’m Fine becomes their first Top 10, one-upping 2023 release Join The Club (11).

A one-year anniversary edition of Billie Eilish’s 2024 chart-topper HIT ME HARD AND SOFT sees it rocket back into the Top 10 this week, up 15 (10).

Electro-pop pioneer Alison Goldfrapp earns a second solo Top 20 album with Flux (13), following the success of 2023’s The Love Invention (8).

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Niall Horan’s former chart-topper Heartbreak Weather returns to the Top 40 for the first time in as many years thanks to a pressing on opaque baby blue vinyl (23).

Louisiana country star Jordan Davis makes his UK Albums Chart debut with third full-length release Learn The Hard Way, new in at Number 25 this week.

As fans anticipate the release of The Life of a Showgirl on October 3, Taylor Swift’s catalogue is on the ascent once again. The Tortured Poets Department jumps nine (28), with Lover (39) and folklore (40) also represented in the Top 40.

OneRepublic’s first career-spanning compilation The Collection earns the group an 11th Top 40 record (29) and, finally, Brighton-born rockers Black Honey bank their fourth with Soak (31).
