During a recent Federal Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed strong displeasure over the recent increase in medicine prices.
Sources revealed that the Prime Minister showed serious concern about the burden this price hike would place on the public and directed that the summary for the price increase be sent back for reconsideration.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet officially approved the closure of the Utility Stores Corporation, according to sources. The decision will result in the dissolution of the corporation and the termination of all its employees.
