Celtic have reportedly rubber-stamped a £4.5million deal for top target Michel-Ange Balikwisha.
The Premiership champions have chased the left-sided Royal Antwerp winger over the past three transfer windows and now reports in Belgium insist they’ve got their man.
Balikwisha is poised to sign a long-term contract with Celtic locked in talks with his representatives in recent days.
Record Sport revealed Balikwisha has been the club’s No.1 target and now Sacha Tavolieri states a deal will be completed in the coming days.
The Belgium youth international is a right-footed winger who plays on the left and his knack for cutting in-field frees Kieran Tierney to bomb down the wing.
And the 23-year-old is expected in Glasgow imminently with the Premiership champions heading east for a crunch Champions League playoff with Kairat Almaty with the tie delicately poised at 0-0 after the first leg.
Rodgers, speaking after the 3-0 win over Livingston, said: “There’s a number of players that we’ve been at for a number of months.
“So we’ll see over the next 48 hours what that looks like.”
