A new schedule shake-up has seen a popular show moved to a different time slot. The bank holiday can lead to some broadcasters changing or adding shows to their usual TV listing.
Tonight (August 25), ITV1 will air a shorter episode of local news and ITV Evening News which usually airs at 6pm and 6.30pm respectively. ITV Granada Reports and other regional news programmes will air for a shorter time of ten minutes at 6pm on ITV.
ITV Evening News will air from 6.10pm until 6.30pm.
In another schedule shake-up, The Chase, which usually airs at 5pm on ITV1 each weekday, will air following ITV Evening News at 6.30pm.
The Chase, hosted by Bradley Walsh, sees contestants play against professional quizzers in hopes of taking home a cash prize.
The show first aired in 2009 and has become a firm favourite with quiz show fans.
Tonight’s episode description reads on TVGuide.co.uk: “Bradley Walsh presents as Andy from Flintshire, Sue from Lancaster, Kirsty from Bristol and Arjun from Solihull pit their wits against one of the ruthless Chasers in the hope of winning a potential prize pot worth thousands of pounds.

“They work as a team and play strategically to answer general knowledge questions against the clock and race down the game board to the exit without being caught.”
The show will then return to its usual time slot of 5pm for the rest of the week.
Following The Chase, there will then be Emmerdale at 7.30pm.
In Emmerdale, Ross is set to confront Charity and ask if Mack left because he found out about their infidelity.
Coronation Street will then air at 8pm tonight.
Coronation Street will see Aadi’s loved ones hatch a plan to stop him leaving Weatherfield.
