Superfan Lindsey Roebuck’s dream came true when the Mysterious Girl singer invited her on stage during his Bank Holiday gig at Eastleigh‘s Concorde Club.

Lindsey, aged 39, from Gosport, joined in vocals on Take That’s Relight My Fire and reminisced about her 25 concerts since 1994.

Before stepping off stage Lindsey said: “I have done lots of meets and greets with him and personalised videos. Have met him lots of time with my family. I have longed to perform with him on stage and it was amazing that he made my dream come true.”

As the Pimm’s flowed at the first of two gigs in the glorious sunshine, the singer songwriter got the packed audience in the party mood with Kool & The Gang’s Celebration.

Peter switched into crooner mood with Come Fly With Me and Fly Me to the Moon.

Another of his chart storming hits, Flava was also on the playlist and he signed off with his 90s hit and signature tune Mysterious Girl.
