Club Brugge v Rangers (20:00)

Rangers successfully negotiated a way past Panathinaikos and Viktoria Plzen to get here, but domestic form has been a problem, with three successive 1-1 draws in the Premiership – against Motherwell, Dundee and St Mirren.

There were jeers from visiting supporters in Paisley on Sunday and lots of empty seats at Ibrox by half-time in the first leg of this contest.

However, Russell Martin insists he is “really enjoying it despite the frustration at the moment”.

He added: “Every fan I’ve bumped into has been great and really understands that club needs something now.

“The frenzy sometimes, and the ups and downs, and the highs and lows and the real gap between those, sometimes has dictated probably the decision-making of the football club and I don’t think it’s helped it.

“It’s my opinion, and I think it’s the opinion shared by most of the people inside the club.

“We’ll just keep working to be better and give everything we’ve got and I think that’s all you can ever do.”
