TV star Stacey Solomon reveals she believes she has “had her last baby” in the new series of her documentary – where she also has a disagreement with her husband about the level of romance in their relationship.
The BBC couple who wed in 2022 and have been together nine years, have recorded more of their domestic life for the BBC. However, launching the TV series, the married couple are at loggerheads over their relationship’s current state.
Stacey remarks: “You said last time Pickle Cottage, it’s like our relationship, constantly working on it. I thought we were all right? And I haven’t seen you put much work in?”
Joe, 43, responds: “We are okay. I definitely feel there’s more room for romance between us this year.”
Stacey remarks: “I’m open to the idea. I’m ready for it. OK, bring it.” Smiling Joe adds: “It’s the first I have heard about it!”

The couple then head off for an overnight break to mark Joe’s birthday, which involves them angling and enjoying a hot tub together.
Joe remarks: “Romance takes a back seat when you have kids, so you sort of have to pick your moments for romance.”
Stacey responds: “Also romance is different at different stages of your life, isn’t it? So like at this stage in our life, romance is unloading the dishwasher. That’s sexy at this point in our lives.
“Not when we first met, romance was shaving your legs[then]. Thank God that bit is over.”
The programme then shifts to show their youngest Belle attending nursery. And Stacey confesses she becomes “sad” as the children mature, reports the Mirror.

“Another one flies the nest. All the kids are at school, and we can have a lot of fun,” says Joe before asking: “D’you think that’s our last baby?”
Stacey replies: “I think that’s our last baby, bubs.” To which Joe says: “I think what we need to do is start looking forward to the future bits of the kids growing up instead of it being like ‘awww’.”
Stacey replies: “Yeah, that’s why I’m getting more animals, to be honest with you!”
Taking a more serious turn, Stacey confides in her sister about worries she might be experiencing early menopause symptoms.
“I think I’m peri-menopausal. I’m snappy and I’m tired,” she reveals. “If you could test my tolerance, it is at an all time low.”

She invites her physiologist mate Ollie round to Pickle Cottage for a chat and potential testing. “Mum did have early menopause, yeah, well, she was in her 30s,” Stacey explains to him.
He subsequently recommends blood tests through a female expert, though notes there’s nothing conclusive indicating she’s begun the menopause.
Discussing the fresh series, Stacey and Joe commented: “We’ve been so grateful for all the lovely messages and people watching series one.
“Everyone’s support means the world to us and we can’t wait to take everyone on this crazy journey we call life! We hope people will laugh along with us again in this new series.”
Stacey & Joe series two launches Tuesday, September 9 at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
