It’s going to be a big week for fans of Swarla and Lisa Swain next week on Coronation Street, while full details are being kept under wraps.
The scene has been set for some rather exciting and potentially twist-filled episodes, with a dramatic trailer and some super teasey spoilers hinting at an engagement, finally, a deadly twist and the an earth-shattering bombshell – while the timeline is not quite clear. There’s the truth about Tia Wardley too, as someone shows up claiming to be the mystery person Logan Radcliffe mentioned weeks ago.
Might we finally find out what happened to Lisa’s late wife Becky and how it all links together? It seems a big moment next week will see detective Kit Green trying to connect the dots as he continues looking into DI Costello amid fans fearing he is corrupt.
With there being so many questions, hopefully next week’s episodes will shed some light and give us some much needed answers. Our soap expert teased: “There’s a possibly pivotal moment next week where Lisa casually mentions to her colleague Kit about Logan giving Carla the name ‘Tia Wardley’.

“It comes off the back of Kit revealing Logan’s uncle has been brought in at the station. That in itself is a little confusing as there’s no real context, but it’s when Lisa mentions Tia that we see Kit taken aback. Kit wastes no time in being on the case, but whether he sees something and all finally becomes clear… you’ll just have to wait and see.”
It comes in what is already a big week for Lisa, as she finds out Carla has tried and failed to propose… again. Betsy lets slip to her mum about the ‘botched’ plans – but with all the clues pointing towards an engagement by the end of the week, will Swarla fans finally have a wedding confirmed?
“Things have not run smoothly for the pair in the slightest, and the fans are long overdue some happy scenes,” our expert shared. “Whether that be with an engagement or even just some joy thrown their way, it’s time to give the pair a break!”
As for whether the pair put a ring on it, they added: “It’s a big week for the couple so anything can happen, but it’s all being kept under wraps. Here’s hoping Carla and Lisa get to where they want to be.”

By the end of the week the focus is back on Tia though, with Lisa coming face-to-face with the mystery character. So what does she have to say to Lisa and who is she?
“She interrupts Lisa and Carla’s dinner saying she’s the Tia Wardley that they’ve been looking into. Fans will find out who she is, and how Lisa will react. She does have something to say to her, but what exactly that is will be revealed to viewers next Friday.
“It’s a great episode and a great week for the soap, and for fans of Swarla and their family in particular as they all take centre stage. Of course depending on the outcome of the scenes with Tia, it could spark any number of twists, and possibly explain some missing details in the mystery surrounding what Becky was looking into before she died.”
