The Daily Star Chief Tipster says Temper Trap – who has won 16 races – can gain another success at Hamilton on Wednesday. Here he has tips from all four meetings.Temper TrapTemper Trap is Jason Heavey’s nap on Wednesday(Image: RACINGFOTOS.COM)

THE remarkable TEMPER TRAP (7.15, nap) bids for his 16th career victory at Hamilton tonight.

Tim Easterby’s eight-year-old is having his 86th start – just eight days after his latest win came at Musselburgh.

He always takes plenty of runs to get his head in front but has a habit of running up a sequence of success once he has.

Conditions at the Scottish track could be fairly testing but that won’t bother the selection, who handles any ground.

Jockey David Allan knows him better than anyone and Temper Trap can defy a penalty in the Cleanstay At Hampton By Hilton Handicap.

David O’Meara’s FLOWSTATE (4.45) is another who should enjoy the Scottish juice in the ground and continue his rider Danny Tudhope’s good recent form.

Henrietta Knight’s MOTAZZEN (2.05, nb) showed his wellbeing by popping up to win at 50-1 at Southwell recently.

Cieren Fallon keeps the ride on the seven-year old and the pair can strike in the Carnegie Group Handicap at Lingfield.

LORD MONTAGUE (5.05) broke his duck at Brighton and had earlier showed his liking for the Lingfield sand, so he also gets the vote at the Surrey track.

Ralph Beckett’s SONG BROCADE (4.20) stands out off a nice racing weight at Bath where his stablemate Perfect Your Craft is a big danger.

With lots of rain forecast at the track it could pay to consider STINTINO SUNSET (4.50) and SECRET HANDSHEIKH (3.50) who both have form on a soft surface.

At Kempton there is a strong word for harry Charlton’s YA KARIM (7.00) who is worth a market check in what could be an above average juvenile maiden.

TAAKLAM (7.30) was noted staying on nicely on his Ffos Las debut and can take a big step forward for Ed Walker.

The half-brother to Teroomm has place claims at least.

Stuart Williams (left) has his team in great form and if PREANKA (8.30) is fit after a lay-off she could win.

Charlie Fellowes’ MAUI BREEZE (9.00) could benefit from a return to the all-weather in the last race. She has not been disgraced in her two turf starts this season and had winning form on the sand last year.
