EastEnders fans are having to wait a bit longer to watch today’s episode of the BBC soap, with the BBC scrapping its early release for today – but how about the rest of this week?Jack and Ravi in EastEnders(Image: BBC)
It’s been a hugely dramatic week on EastEnders so far, with Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) officially returning to Walford and last night’s episode ending with a gunshot being fired.
Tuesday’s episode left viewers on a huge cliffhanger when Jack Branning and Ravi Gulati tussled over a gun and someone was shot off-screen. However, fans who were hoping to find out in EastEnders‘ early release this morning were left disappointed when they found that it wasn’t available.
We’ll have to wait until tonight’s episode at 7:30pm on BBC One for the mystery to be solved – but will this be the case for the rest of the week? It comes after EastEnders spoilers reveal huge fallout after Kat and Zoe’s ‘cinematic’ reunion scenes.

Thankfully for fans, the BBC has confirmed the release details for EastEnders’ episode tomorrow and it’s back to regular programming.
Fans can expect Thursday’s episode to arrive at 6am tomorrow on BBC iPlayer before airing at 7:30pm on BBC One.
So far this week, we’ve watched as Zoe reunited with her grandmother Mo Harris and met brothers Bert and Ernie for the very first time. However, chaos soon erupted in the Vic when Zoe and Kat clashed.
Meanwhile, Jack discovered that Ravi had snuck into his house to steal back the gun, which had disappeared after it was hidden in the Square by Harry and discovered by Jack’s nephew Oscar. They found themselves in a physical fight, resulting in the gun accidentally firing – to their horror.
EastEnders previously teased that Zoe’s return would send “shockwaves through the Slaters and Walford”, with viewers finally learning about her past in tonight’s episode. Since Tuesday, fans have been speculating over who will be shot in tonight’s ep – with many fearing for Mo Harris.
Some are also convinced that we’ll learn that Zoe is the mother of troubled teen Joel Marshall, while others think that she is married to Max Branning – who is returning to the BBC soap.
Viewers are also waiting for the return of Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean) to Albert Square after she appeared in the trailer for Zoe’s comeback.
The character has been missing from Walford since Martin Fowler’s funeral – and now fans fear that Sharon may have been accidentally shot by Jack and Ravi.
One fan penned: “Imagine if the person who got shot is Sharon in a surprise twist. Remember we saw her in Zoe’s Promo video – why would she appear unless something significant happens? and imagine if Zoe was the one to save Sharon’s life after all the Dirty Den stuff.
“They would never kill off Sharon but this could be a way for Zoe and Sharon to further build a truce after all the Den stuff.”
EastEnders airs tonight at 7:30pm on BBC One.
